Grok 4.7 Release Delayed

The release of Grok 4.7 has been delayed due to the need for further model refinement. Musk stated that the models require a few more days to complete.
Today, Grok 4.7 was supposed to be released, but Musk announced that the models need a few more days to cook. Perhaps we have penalized him too harshly for the length of responses (or something like that) in RL, so he is currently often giving up on difficult tasks (which he can perform!), and is not yet checking his work strictly enough.
Why it matters
AnalysisThis is important as delays in the release of new models can impact the advancement of artificial intelligence technologies. Understanding the reasons for delays helps to better assess progress in this field.
