shot: An MCP mod for Claude Code that shows AI agent steps on screen
The new MCP mod shot gives Claude Code screenshot capabilities, letting an AI agent demonstrate app actions step by step.
shot — MCP mod for Claude Code
shot is a mod for Claude Code and an MCP tool that gives AI agents access to screenshot creation tools.
You can now ask Claude to explain how to perform any action in an app step by step, and it will show each step directly on the screen.
In the example, Claude finds unused code on Amazon's homepage using Chrome DevTools (menu ⋮ → More tools → Coverage). Out of 9.2 MB of JavaScript and CSS, 5.3 MB were unused.
Coverage helps identify which JavaScript and CSS portions are not used on a page. Try running it on the first load of your own site.

Why it matters
AnalysisThis makes visual instruction and UI debugging easier: the agent can show actions instead of only describing them.
