SpaceXAI Releases Source Code of Their Agent Grok Build
It is unclear whether this decision was planned or influenced by the recent scandal involving leaks of entire user repositories, but the fact remains: Grok Build on GitHub.
As a bonus, they have lifted limits for all users.
Regarding the leaks, the situation was explained as follows:
Since the launch, users have always been able to disable data uploads in the CLI, and this choice was respected. However, during early beta testing, data retention was enabled by default for non-ZDR users — at your request, we changed this. As of July 12, data retention by default has been disabled for all users, and all previously saved data has been deleted.
Why it matters
AnalysisThis is significant as the release of source code promotes the development of the developer community and increases transparency in the use of technologies. Additionally, lifting limits allows more users to access the tools.
