Claude has introduced an update to its voice mode, now featuring more powerful models including Opus and Sonnet. During conversations, Claude can also interact with connected tools such as email and calendar.
New Features
The voice mode now supports additional functionalities. For instance, ChatGPT Voice has appeared in the desktop application, allowing users to control multiple agents in ChatGPT Work and Codex via voice.
At the core of this functionality is the new GPT Live 1 model with Full Duplex support, enabling it to listen to the user, respond, and coordinate tasks within the application simultaneously.
Availability
The update is already rolling out on macOS and Windows for Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, and Enterprise plans. Voice control of Codex is also possible through the ChatGPT app for iOS when connected to a computer via remote access.
An Android version will be available soon.
