fal introduces FLUX 3 Max: near-real-time AI video generation
Together with Black Forest Labs, fal fine-tuned and accelerated FLUX 3 Max, an AI video model that generates 10-second 720p clips with sound in about 12.45 seconds.
After H3 Max, fal turned its attention to FLUX 3. Working with Black Forest Labs (BFL), the team fine-tuned the model and accelerated inference, resulting in FLUX 3 Max. It generates videos with sound from a text prompt or an image.
In fal’s tests, 10 seconds of 720p video are generated in 12.45 seconds, compared with 277.8 seconds for Seedance 2.5 — roughly 22 times faster. On Artificial Analysis’s image-to-video arena, the model sits in the leading group alongside Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3.
On fal’s launch page, the listed price is $0.0425 per second at 720p, or $0.425 for a 10-second clip; the standard price after launch is $1.70 for the same clip.
