New Claude Code Feature: Sessions Can Communicate with Each Other
Claude Code has introduced a new feature that allows sessions to communicate with each other, sharing important information and context.
New Claude Code Feature: Sessions Can Communicate with Each Other
Claude Code now has the capability for sessions to interact with each other. This means you can work on different parts of a project in separate sessions and transfer information between them.
How It Works
For example:
In one session, you are working on one function. In another, you are working on another part of the project. If one session needs to pass something to another, you can simply ask Claude to do it.
Claude will send a brief summary with important information, and the other session will continue working with that context.
Benefits of the New Feature
- Ability to ask questions to another session and receive answers directly in the current session.
- Convenience in working on large projects where multiple parts need to be coordinated simultaneously.
Update Claude Code to try out this new feature. It is available on macOS and Linux.
Why it matters
AnalysisThis new feature significantly simplifies project work by allowing efficient information exchange between sessions. It can enhance productivity and reduce task completion time.
