Meta has announced the release of a new agent model, Glimmer, while Anthropic attempted to tackle the Riemann Hypothesis using the Claude model.

Today marks an important day for technology. Meta is seriously returning to open models. The company has released Glimmer — a powerful agent model with 30 billion parameters, which is already ready for use. Additionally, Meta is preparing a new version, Spark 1.2, with open weights.

Meanwhile, Anthropic is attempting to solve one of the most famous unsolved problems in mathematics — the Riemann Hypothesis — using the yet-to-be-released Claude model. Although the hypothesis itself remains unsolved, the Claude model unexpectedly improved a long-standing result by raising the proportion of zeros of the Riemann zeta function for which the hypothesis is confirmed from 41.6% to 67.2%.

Furthermore, Anthropic announced that the starting price for Sonnet 5 will become permanent: $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens.

Lastly, it seems that Gemini 3.5 Pro will not be released at all. According to SemiAnalysis, Google has canceled the model's release and is apparently moving directly to Gemini 4.
