Google Releases Gemini 3.7 Flash

Google has introduced the new AI model Gemini 3.7 Flash, showcasing impressive benchmark results. The model's pricing will be reduced by the end of the year.

(Somewhere, Gemini 3.5 Pro quietly weeps, as its release seems to have been completely canceled)
Now, this is Google's strongest model for coding and agents. Benchmarks are at the level of GPT-5.6 Terra and slightly better than Sonnet 5 on average. For example, it scores 65.3% on Deep SWE.
By the end of the year, the model will cost half as much as Gemini 3.6 Flash: $0.75/1M input and $3.75/1M output (but it seems to consume slightly more tokens for reasoning and planning).
P.S. The model is also available in the DS Lab API.
Why it matters
AnalysisThis news is significant as Gemini 3.7 Flash is a powerful tool for developers, potentially enhancing coding and automation processes. The price reduction makes the technology more accessible to a wider audience.
