Claude Code Cloud Sessions Officially Launch with Test Credits

Claude Code cloud sessions are now generally available. Anthropic offers one-time credits up to $250 to test the feature, which allows coding tasks to continue even when your laptop is closed.
Cloud sessions for Claude Code have officially exited beta and are now available to everyone.
This feature allows Claude Code to continue working even if your laptop is turned off or closed.
Current subscribers receive a one-time credit to test cloud sessions:
- Pro — $100
- Max — $250
Cloud sessions run on Anthropic's infrastructure, so task execution does not depend on your computer's state.
You can launch them via claude.ai/code, the Code tab in the Claude mobile app, the desktop application, or the claude --cloud command in the terminal.
The promo credit is consumed first and does not affect your regular plan limit. After it is exhausted, cloud sessions will continue to work within standard Pro or Max usage.
The credit is issued once per account and is valid only for cloud sessions.
To launch, a connected GitHub account is required. You must claim the credit by October 7 — via this link or the /claim-credit command in the terminal.
