Anthropic Unifies Claude Cowork, Design, and Chat into One Platform
Anthropic has announced a significant update to its ecosystem: the Claude Cowork, Claude Design, and standard chat services are now merged into a single unified product — Claude.
How It Works
All tools are now located in one place and fully integrated with each other. The AI model automatically determines which mode is best suited for the current task, eliminating the need for users to manually switch between chat and desktop applications.
Data Preservation
All previous conversations, projects, materials, connections, and skills from Cowork will be preserved after the update.
Availability
- Pro and Max: The update will begin rolling out to these users in the coming weeks.
- Beta Features: Claude Docs, Slides, and Design are already available in beta for paid tiers.
- Free and Team: The free and team plans will receive the update later.
