AgentCloak Launches Free Browser Extension to Protect Data in AI Prompts
AgentCloak has released a free browser extension that uses a local AI model to anonymize sensitive data before sending prompts to major AI services.
AgentCloak has launched a free browser extension designed to help users avoid sharing personal data in requests to AI models.
According to the developer, a small AI model runs locally directly in the browser. It detects sensitive information such as names and account numbers, replacing them with dummy values before the request is sent. Once the response is received, the extension restores the original data.
The tool supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, and other models. No registration is required.
