Ghostty developer adds playful troll rule for AI agents in AGENTS.md

Ghostty's AGENTS.md tells AI agents to add a mocking file when opening pull requests, while Turborepo uses a similar 'I didn't check my work' marker.
The developer of Ghostty came up with a playful way to troll users of AI coding agents.
In the terminal's AGENTS.md file, a curious instruction appeared: if an AI agent creates a Pull Request in the repository, it should add a file that calls its user a 'pathetic, dumb AI user with no real skills'.
Turborepo went in a similar direction. Third-party development agents are expected to include a file named i-didnt-check-my-work.md with the title 'I didn't check my work'.
That is how AI agents can end up exposing their owners.
Why it matters
AnalysisIt shows how repository instructions can shape agent behavior and produce public artifacts that may be embarrassing or offensive. It also highlights why automated pull requests still need human review.
