Figma Introduces Generative Plugins That Can Be Created Together with an Agent.
Figma has announced new generative plugins that allow users to create functions using a chat agent.
All you need to do is describe the desired function in the chat, and the assistant will gather and integrate a ready plugin with a user-friendly interface.
In the same way, shaders for element effects can be generated.
Figma Motion has also been introduced. It resembles LottieLab, but without the jumps between tools and with real-time collaboration. If they further enhance export and performance, half of such standalone animation services may become obsolete.
Why it matters
AnalysisThis development in Figma could significantly simplify the process of creating plugins and animations, enhancing the productivity of designers and developers.
